Wichita State University offers fully online options for undergraduates in Aging Studies.
The Bachelor of Arts Field Major in Aging Studies (conferred through the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) allows you to build a program of study with a primary emphasis on Aging Studies. You’ll collaborate with an academic advisor to select courses that cater to your interests within a liberal-arts based education and provides pre-professional and career students greater flexibility in their academic progress.
Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) – Emphasis in Aging Studies (conferred through the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences) is an interdisciplinary degree that prepares graduates for today’s employment market, especially for positions that require a broad background of knowledge.
The Undergraduate Minor in Aging Studies consists of at least 15 hours from the recommended course linst. All students are required to complete AGE 100 Introduction to Gerontology as the foundational course for the minor.
