Alcohol Advisory Board

The University Alcohol Advisory Board has been established in an effort to compliment the current campus community and city education efforts in the area of alcohol/substance abuse and to address the prevention, identification, and treatment needs of the Wichita State University students, faculty, and staff.

The Alcohol Advisory Board sponsors Shocker Safe Ride. This is a free service to all WSU students with your student ID within the following boundaries: 45th Street N, 47th Street S, 127th Street E, and 119th Street W., destinations beyond these boundaries will have a cost of two dollars per mile charged to the student rider. The program is available 365 days per year from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am. You can be picked up and dropped off anywhere in Wichita! Call 316-978-RIDE (316-978-7433).
