  • SPRING & SUMMER (May) graduates: MARCH 1st

NOTE for SUMMER graduates: Summer graduates are included and participate in the spring (May) commencement ceremony. In order to have your name printed in the program, you must submit your AFD by March 1st.  You can still graduate in August if you submit your AFD by July 1st, however you name will not appear in any commencement program.

What happens after I submit my AFD?

After you submit your Application for Degree (AFD) and after the enrollment period for that term, the Graduation Coordinator runs your degree evaluation and does a degree audit to make sure you are on track to graduate. She will send an email letting you know whether you are on track to graduate or if you are missing a requirement.

Do I have to have a final graduation check appointment?

A final graduation check appointment is not required, but if the student would like to meet with the Graduation Coordinator to discuss their final degree audit, they are welcome to schedule an appointment. A final graduation check is NOT an academic advising appointment.

To schedule an appointment:

  • You must be enrolled in your final semester.
  • All grades must be posted from previous semesters.

Email the Graduation Coordinator or call 316-978-6554 if you would like to schedule an appointment.
