Executive MBA Advantage
The Value of a Wichita State Executive MBA in the Workplace
Ask executive MBA students and graduates the value of their experience in the EMBA program, and you’ll get a variety of answers with a common theme:
The return on investment is substantial, with immediate benefits for both the company and the student.
The EMBA Experience is distinguished by offering:
THE BUSINESS SCHOOL’S TOP FACULTY Senior faculty members of the Barton School of Business teach in the WSU Executive MBA program. These faculty members are widely recognized for their scholarly research, business and consulting experience, and excellence in classroom teaching.
AACSB INTERNATIONAL ACCREDITATION Wichita State University offers the only accredited EMBA program in South-Central Kansas. AACSB accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools, worldwide. It is the hallmark of excellence in management education.
AN EXPERIENCED CLASSROOM PEER GROUP The EMBA class consists of experienced professionals. The broad, collective experience of the student body creates a challenging and stimulating learning environment. Students learn as much from their peers as the instructors.
ACCELERATED TIMETABLE The program is completed in 20 months with 36 hours of coursework. Classes meet on Saturdays, usually three times a month. The course schedule is preplanned for the entire program and the weekend schedule minimizes work week interruptions. Students can implement things they are learning immediately.
ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT Tuition for the EMBA is all-inclusive. The fee covers registration, textbooks, class materials, continental breakfast, lunch on class days, the week-long international trip, evening and class social events and other amenities. Students do not have to register for classes, buy books, obtain parking passes, etc. Administrative details are left to us, so that the student can focus on learning.
COLLABORATIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT Students enter the program as a group (cohort) and proceed through the program in lock-step. The EMBA cohort also offers tremendous networking opportunities.
