Swim Lessons

It is never too late to Learn 2 Swim. People of all ages are invited to participate in swimming lessons offered at the Heskett Center. With the help of The Wichita Aqua Shocks, we offer both group and private lessons for adults, children and even parents and tots together.

•  Adult: People of all ages are encouraged to learn to swim. These lessons are flexible depending on what the participant wants to learn and based on their skill level whether it be beginner or advanced.
•  Children: Levels 1-6: The levels begin at the beginner level, with not knowing how to swim, and wanting to overcome the fear of putting their face in the water, learning how to float on the front and back, and learning basic swimming techniques. The higher levels consist of learning all the swimming strokes, refining strokes, dives, flip turns and more!
•  Parent & Tot: Introduce your child to the water by joining in on the lesson with them. You will learn how to help your child feel comfortable in the water. Activities may include showing them how to splash, singing songs while bobbing around and playing games together. Children must be six months or older.
