The FastTrac® program is divided into two specialty areas: NewVenture™ and GrowthVenture™. NewVenture™ offers essential business information to help develop entrepreneurial skills to build a strong business foundation. GrowthVenture™ focuses on improving the business' performance.

Piloted in 1986 at the University of Southern California, the FastTrac® Entrepreneurial Training Program has been tested and refined in classes held in 31 states. FastTrac® combines classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching, guest speakers, hands-on participation and comprehensive course workbooks.

The primary goal of the Center for Entrepreneurship is to extend an arm of support to the local and national business community in such a way as to facilitate new business and further the goals of established businesses. This has been accomplished since the Center's inception 30 years ago through a number of outreach programs designed to assist local entrepreneurial efforts as well as national business interest.
