CAPITOL GRADUATE RESEARCH SUMMIT

WSU Students Only

The deadline to submit an abstract for the 2018 CGRS event is November 10, 2017.

  1. Check the Hot Topics page to make sure your research area is included.
  2. Write an abstract of no more than 250 words, describing your research, including its relevance to the state of Kansas. For guidance on how to organize your abstract, see the MS Word template here.
  3. Click here goo.gl/hnChEx to submit your contact information and abstract. (Note: the submittal form will lose the formatting from your MS Word document. Save your MS Word file for use later.)

If your abstract is selected, you will be notified in December. At that time, you will be given further instructions for abstract formatting and will later email your MS Word-formatted abstract to jenny.stauffer@wichita.edu. It may be edited for length and clarity. Also, you will receive further information for preparing your poster and traveling to Topeka.

Save the date for the Graduate School's Professional Development event, "Speak for Success: Talking about your Research to a Wide Audience," January 31, 12:00-1:30 pm (RSC 142, Harvest Room). This event will help you prepare a short presentation for a general audience who may not be familiar with your research topic. CGRS presenters are required to attend this event.
