AdmissionsThe Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program is designed to fulfill the standards for advanced education in general dentistry as specified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. The program is full-time and lasts for 12 months.
Prior to admission all applicants must have passed Part 1 and Part 2 of National Dental Boards, provide regional board scores and be eligible for Kansas licensure. Graduates of foreign dental schools are not accepted at this time. All additional requirements are listed within the application packet online.
Applications for admission can be submitted between November - July for consideration and interview. Applicants should apply directly to Wichita State University, College of Health Professions. The applications are not processed through PASS.
The completion of an application in no way implies or guarantees the acceptance of the applicant as a student in this program.
Applications must be complete to be considered. Official transcripts are accepted from Registrar's Office only.

Acceptance comes through an official notification from the College of Health Professions Advanced Education in General Dentistry program. In determining an applicant’s eligibility, the committee will give careful consideration to the applicant’s academic preparation, national test scores, experience and extracurricular activities.
On notice of acceptance, a deposit of $500.00 non-refundable reservation fee must be received with applicant's letter of acceptance within 14 business days. Deposits received after the 14 days deadline will result in applicant's position being forfeited and opened to other applicants.
