Kansas Dental Hygienists Association (KDHA) Scholarship

This scholarship is for dental hygiene students entering the 2nd year of the program. Application is made during the Spring semester of each year. The department will make applications available to 1st year students when they are received from the association.

The Kansas Dental Hygienists Association will base their selection on the following critieria:

• Professional involvement
• Academic achievement
• Financial need
• One page essay

Delta Dental of Kansas Foundation Scholarship(s)

This scholarship is for dental hygiene students entering the 2nd year of the program. Application is made during the Spring semester of each year. The following eligibility is required for a student to receive this scholarship. The application deadline is the 3rd Friday of April each year.

Eligibility:

1. Kansas resident from any county EXCEPT Sedgwick County.
2. Must have and maintain at least a 3.5 GPA.
3. Must intend to practice dental hygiene at least three days a week in Kansas continuously for at least two years immediately following completion of the program and sign a document attesting to this intention.
