The Kansas State Board of Nursing concluded their visit to the School of Nursing on Nov 19, 2003. Their visit was very productive and was successful. Full accreditation was granted.CCNE concluded their visit to the School of Nursing on Nov 20, 2003. The teams' report was forwarded to the Accreditation Review Committee.
The Board of Commissioners considers the team's report along with the confidential recommendation of the Accreditation Review Committee. The Board granted the maximum accrediation (10 years) for both the graduate and undergraduate programs with no recommendations.

WSU's School of Nursing accredited for 10 years!
Wichita State University School of Nursing has received the full 10 years of accreditation from Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education for both its bachelor of science and master of science nursing programs. CCNE is an autonomous accrediting agency contributing to the improvement of the public's health, which ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate education programs preparing effective nurses. CCNE serves the public interest by assessing and identifying programs that engage in effective educational practices.
