Recording Lecture Options for CHP

The following is a list of 3 (three) options for recording lectures outside of the classroom. Please select an option to watch a screencast demonstration on how to record your lectures.

Preparation steps:

  1. Choose one of 3 types of microphones: (1) send request to check-out stand-up microphone or USB wireless microphone; (2) purchase a headset microphone at most any electronic store.
  2. Note: If you have another audio recorder you would like to use, then all you need to do is use instructions Audacity Part 2 and 3  to help you convert audio file to mp3 format (if not done already) and then help you upload Audio File to Blackboard using Tegrity. (This will allow student access to recording in Blackboard.)
  3. Webcam (optional): send request to check-out webcam
  4. Choose a recording option: (1) use PowerPoint; (2) use Tegrity; (3) use Audacity
  5. Watch the screencast demonstration of that recording option.
