Dr. Ravi Pendse is the Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer at Wichita State University. His office leads the Division of Information Services at WSU, Kansas' only urban-serving research state university. The Division of Information Services reports directly to the president of the university and was established to align all technological areas within WSU. In his role as Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer, Dr. Pendse is the chief technology strategist and provides initiative for delivery of the latest technology and highest quality of technological support to all university constituents. He oversees  University Computing and Telecommunications Services (UCATS), Media Resource Center (MRC) and Wichita Information Network. He is also founder and executive director of the Advanced Networking Research Institute (ANRI) at WSU.

Dr. Pendse provides leadership for the continued development of a modern information technology environment throughout the university. The primary responsibility of his office is the development and use of information technology in support of the university's vision for excellence in research, teaching, outreach, and lifelong learning.
