Planned as a three-year grant, $389,570 awarded for second year. $23,000 was awarded to Wichita State University to carry out the evaluation component of the grant.
- Wichita Public Schools (2000-01). Helping children dream: Elementary school counseling demonstration grant. U.S. Department of Education. Planned as a three-year grant, $389,570 awarded for first year. (Ruth Hitchcock wrote the abstract and the evaluation sections and participated fully in the planning for the entire grant proposal.). As a result of a presentation made by Romig and Hitchcock, $23,000 was awarded to Wichita State University to carry out the evaluation component of the grant.
