Teacher Education - Graduate Programs

Overview

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction offers courses leading to a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education (adaptive, early childhood unified, functional, and gifted) for individuals who currently hold a teaching certificate or license. A Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT), for individuals who are seeking an initial license, is offered through three alternative certification programs; Transition to Teaching and Early Childhood Unified Residency, and Middle Level Secondary Residency.
