UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS


The College of Education awards over $130,000 of academic scholarships to its students each year. Incoming, current and non-traditional students receive these scholarships.

  • Criteria
    Criteria differs for each scholarship. Students' qualifications are matched to the appropriate scholarships for final selection of awards.
  • Application
    In order to be considered for both WSU and College of Education scholarships, go to the following link listed below. Only one application is necessary for current students in the College of Education.
  • How to Apply
    To apply, download the application and return it to the Education Support Services office in 107 Corbin Education Center or mail it to:

Ways to improve your scholarship options:

Fill out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. This may improve your chances for need-based scholarships.

  • Research scholarship options using various venues, including online and through your university or local library
  • Complete all scholarship applications accurately and thoroughly
  • Proofread any required essays for correct grammar and syntax
  • Meet all required deadlines
  • Promptly return acknowledgements of award packages with all requested information.
