Whether you’re a recent college graduate or a working professional, Wichita State’s Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) programs will help you gain the knowledge and practical skills vital to becoming a well-prepared, licensed teacher at the middle or high school level -- in two or three years of part time study combined with classroom experience.
There are two tracks available to complete your teaching license. These programs are offered for students who already hold a bachelor’s degree in the subject they want to teach and who are seeking their initial teaching license through a graduate program.
If this sounds like you, Wichita State offers two pathways to help you reach your teaching goals:

Work as a full-time, paid teacher while completing requirements for licensure and degree.
