students using smartboard

Molly Reiga and Barbara McCulley learn to use SMART Board technology

College of Education Technology Center

The COE Technology Center is a gathering place for College of Education students, faculty, and staff. In the Tech Center, students can get help with Blackboard or email, research a topic for a paper, search for information about teaching positions and school districts, fill out an online student teaching application, meet with other students to work on a project, print a paper, learn how to use a SmartBoard, collaborate with a peer via video conferencing, check out a video camera and laptop to complete a multimedia project, and more. Faculty and staff can visit or contact the Tech Center to reserve equipment, get advice on how to use a piece of equipment, or get help with troubleshooting any technology-related problem. The Tech Center is always staffed with someone who can provide technology support and advice. Mobile equipment, including several laptop labs, is maintained in the Tech Center and available for use in other COE classrooms.
