The Counseling and Testing Center would like to help you cope with any difficult situation.
The Counseling & Testing Center partners with Student Health Services and a psychiatric medical doctor to provide psychotropic medication services to enrolled students. The current standard of care for mental health conditions includes both medication management and therapy. Therefore, a medication consultation is coordinated through the individual counselor and reserved only for clients engaged in counseling.
The Counseling and Testing Center offers a variety of opportunities for group interaction and education. Check out our popular monthly seminar entitled "Words for Wellness" where several mental health topics are presented and discussed at the WSU main campus. Watch campus bulletin boards and the "Sunflower" for opportunities to participate. Groups available for Fall 2015.
Our counseling staff administers and interprets a wide range of assessment instruments. Interest, ability, values and personality may be formally assessed in support of psychological and/or career counseling.
The staff at the Counseling and Testing Center offer a different range of groups to the campus. Click here for details on all of the groups being offered this semester.
