Professional Development Program

The Ready 2 Work program (R2W) pairs sophomores and juniors with experienced professionals in the community to mentor and begin preparing students for the workforce. In addition, students will have access to workshops, including resume building, interviewing skills, appropriate dress for the workplace and many more.

When you join R2W, you'll have access to:
  • Individual guidance from a professional mentor
  • Workforce readiness workshops
  • Free one-on-one tutoring
  • Free Microsoft Surface™ 2 RT tablets and laptops for check-out
  • Academic support
  • Social and cultural events
  • And much more!
Expectations of participants:
  • Engage with your assigned professional mentor
  • Attend professional development programs and trainings (four total)
  • Meet once a month with the Assistant Director
  • Maintain a minimum 2.50 GPA
