Melissa Angle (print journalism 2002) is a senior designer at the Orlando Sentinel in Orlando, Fla. She also worked as a copy editor and designer at The Sun News in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Jennie (Denison) AraSmith (IMC, 2001) is a graphic designer for the Wichita Public Schools Curriculum and Assessment Departments.

Heidi Lindsley Boucher (M.A., 1996) is a Microsoft Office master instructor, certified technical trainer and works for Patton Boggs LLP, a national law firm as an information technology trainer in the Denver office.  Previously, she was a computer information systems (CIS) instructor at Front Range Community College in Westminster, Colorado.

Becky Bowman (M.A. 2000) recently finished her Ph.D. in communication at Kent State University, and is now an assistant professor at McPherson College.

Danielle Brand (IMC 2005) is marketing coordinator for BG Products (www.bgprod.com), which makes car maintenance fluids and service tools.

John Bulcock (Strategic Communication, 2002) is completing the first year of his M.Ed. Program in Higher Education-Student Affairs at Iowa State University, where he also serves as the graduate adviser to the Interfraternity Council.  Prior to going to Iowa State, he served as a residence hall director and adviser to the Interfraternity Council at St. Mary's University in San Antonio.

Ashle Burnett (broadcast journalism, 2002). Public relations coordinator for the Wichita Art Museum, part-time sales associate with AFLAC and hosts "Hello Kansas," on KSN

Kate Cady (B.A., 1998). ABD in Rhetorical Studies, University of Iowa.  As of August 2004, Kate will be an assistant professor at Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Aaron Cathey (IMC 2005) is a copywriter for GlynnDevins Advertising and Marketing in Kansas City, Kan. He previously was a copywriter at Meers Marketing Communications, also in Kansas City.

Patricia (Weutrich) Clasen (M.A. 1996, Ph.D. University of Nebraska) is an assistant professor of communication at the University of Wisconsin - Rock County in Janesville.

Jessy Clonts (integrated marketing, 2002) is the public relations specialist for DHC USA, a distributor of Japanese beauty and health products, in San Francisco. She previously worked as the marketing assistant for DHC for two years, and as an English teacher for AEON Corp. in Okinawa, Japan.

Jessica Crosby (IMC 2006) is marketing coordinator for the Kansas Cosmosphere in Hutchinson.

Stephanie (Wright) Daas (IMC, 1999) is marketing director for Shepard & Associates Inc. in Overland Park.  She worked in marketing at the Star Tribune Employee Credit Union in Minneapolis after graduating until 2002, when she moved to Kansas City.

Andrea Denton (broadcast journalism, 2000) recently completed three years at WAVY-TV in Virginia Beach, Va., and has taken a job as a field investigator for the U.S. Investigations Services.

David Duty (M.A., 1998) ABD University of Oklahoma, Intercultural Communication - recently awarded the 2004 Ralph Cooley Memorial Intercultural Award for his research in intercultural communication.

Amanda Eden (IMC, 2000) is an account executive in public relations at the Greteman Group in Wichita.

Darren Elliott (M.A. 2000) is an assistant professor and director of debate at Kansas City Kansas Community College. He is serving his third term as Faculty Senate president. Elliott's debate teams have won the Community College National Championship Tournament three consecutive years.

Jared Estes (IMC, 2002) is a marketing assistant and works in group sales for the Kansas Coliseum.

Stan Finger (print journalism, 1983) is a staff writer for the enterprise team at The Wichita Eagle. He has worked for The Eagle 19 years.

LaNesha Flowers (strategic communication, 2004) is the Newspaper in Education Coordinator at the Wichita Eagle.

Molly Fox (broadcast, 2004) is director of development/fundraising at KPTS Public Television, Wichita.

Kelly Garrett (electronic media, 1997) Director of Development, Von Zerneck-Sertner Films, Los Angeles.

Mis Gaston (IMC 2005) is area director of Towne East and West malls in Wichita.

Dominic Gauna (electronic media, 2003). Director, KWCH-TV Wichita.

Nicole Gibbs (IMC December 2006) is a corporate communications representative for INTRUST Bank in WIchita.

Mike Haden (electronic media, 2001). Production Manager, WB Kansas.

Latricia Harper (M.A., 2002). City of Wichita Public Information Officer.

Robin Hartzell (B.G.S., 2001) has joined the Greteman Group team as a research analyst.

Tyler Heffron (IMC, 2002) is concluding his second year at the University of Kansas School of Law, where he has been appellate counsel in the KU Moot Court Competition and a founding editor of the Kansas Journal of Law & Culture.  He also works as a summer associate at Triplett, Woolf & Garretson, LLC in Wichita.

Amelia Hendra (M.A. 2006 & IMC, 2003) is director of communications at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Kansas City, MO.

Jeff Herndon (broadcast journalism, 1998). Co-Anchor of the 6 p.m. news, KAKE-TV Wichita.

Cheryl Hilpert (IMC, May 2006) is an account executive with MediaReach Public Relations in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Shannon Holland (M.A.,2002) earned her Ph.D. at the University of Georgia in 2006. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication Studies at Clemson University in Clemson, SC.

Ann Tolzin Holmes (M.A. 2006) is news director for WTVM-TV in Columbus, Ga. Prior to taking the Columbus job, she was executive producer at NBC's WCAU-TV in Philadelphia.

Terry Horne (journalism, 1975) is vice president and chief operations officer for Swift Newspapers Inc., Reno. Swift owns daily newspapers at Aspen, Vail, Breckenridge and Glenwood Springs in Colorado, as well as the only daily at Lake Tahoe.

Taunia Hottman (electronic media, 2001). Reporter, KSHB-TV Kansas City.

Jeremy Hubbard (journalism, 1996). KMBC-Kansas City. Weekend Anchor.

Susan A Hund-Milne (journalism, 1971). editor/co-publisher of the bi-monthly Wichita Hi-Lighter, and the annual reference guide, Spotlight on Wichita.

Carmen Hytche (IMC, 2000) is director of special events and community relations at WSU in the Office of University Communications and Marketing.

Davina Jamison (print journalism 2001) is deputy news editor at The Hutchinson News, after serving as a community editor at The Kansas City Star and a copy editor at The Bulletin in Bend, Ore.

Christina Karaoli (journalism, 1997). Executive Producer, KWCH-TV Wichita.

Jennifer (Rhoads) Keller (advertising and public relations, 1991). graduated with her Master of Public Health degree from the University of Kansas in December, and has been hired by the Kansas Association of Local Health Departments as a project director.

Que Lam (journalism and Spanish 1998) is an English teacher in Osaka, Japan, where she started in 2000. Que spent last spring studying in Vietnam. She previously worked for more than two years as a courts and county government reporter at the San Angelo (Texas) Standard-Times.

Kevin Lavery (electronic media, 1998) has worked as a journalist since 1987, when he joined the Navy.  He now works in St. Louis at KWMU (90.7 FM), the National Public Radio affiliate.  He started at KMUW at WSU in 1997.

Christian Lehr (IMC 2003) is a treasury services officer for Commerce Bank in Wichita.

Heidi Lockhart (IMC 2006) is Marketing Director, head copy editor and senior copywriter for the ProAdjuster Group in Dallas, Texas.

Chuck Lohf (electronic media, 1993) is a graphic artist at KSNW-TV in Wichita.

Carrie Anne Mabee (public relations, 1994). Marketing coordinator in the Lawrence, Kans., offices of Gould Evans Associates, LC, an architectural design firm.

Thomas Manson (M.A. 1996) National speaker and trainer in the areas of public safety and technology.  I am also the owner of Police Technical LLC, a technology services company.

Robert Marin (broadcast, 2004) is an associate producer and assignment editor at KSNW (Channel 3) in Wichita. He worked previously as a technical director and production assistant at KWCH (Channel 12), and before that as part-time reporter and studio producer at KNSS Radio.

Amanda Matthews (IMC, 2005) is communications coordinator for the Office of Admissions at Wichita State University.

Nancy McCabe (English, 1984), a former Sunflower staff member and journalism student, is director of the writing program at the University of Pittsburgh, Bradford. She has won a Pushcart with her creative nonfiction, and has been listed twice in Best American Essays.

Lori Nelson (M.A., 2002) is an account director with Foote, Cone and Belding in Chicago.

Kristi Oberg (M.A., 2000) is director of development for the Kansas Humane Society, Wichita.

Fabian (Ichie) Okeke (Print Journalism, 1980) In 1987 I started publishing VOICE OF AFRICA- an international business journal relating to trade between U.S. and African countries. After ten years in publishing, I went back to college for further studies. In 1998, I obtained M.A. degree in Sociology from Texas Southern University and joined public service as the Community Liaison Supervisor in the Mayor's Office, City of Houston. I am presently an Administrative Specialist with Houston Airport System.

Kristin Peck (Print Journalism, 1995) director of public affairs for Cox Communications in Wichita, has accepted a job as vice president of government and public affairs for Cox in Omaha.

Becky (Hart) Purvis (print journalism, 1996) is a media relations specialist for the Office of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington. She will graduate from UTA in May with her master's in business administration.

Brian Quick (print journalism, 2005) is a news producer at WIBW-TV in Topeka.

Curt Rierson (electronic media, 1993). Photojournalist, KMBC-TV Kansas City.

Ed Robinson (IMC, 2001) graduated from Washburn Law in May 2005 with honors. He was a Comments editor for the Washburn Law Journal, and published an article in the 2004 spring edition of the Washburn Law Journal. He is a first-year associate for Morris, Laing, Evans, Brock and Kennedy in Old Town.

Sharon Robinson (IMC 2004) is program coordinator for the Office of Adminssions at Wichita State University.

Holly (Shifflette) Rokenes (M.A. 1996) is HR adviser for international assignments, FMC Kongsberg Subsea (FMC Technologies), Bergen, Norway.  She also does freelance voiceover and copy work for a variety of Norwegian shipping and oil companies, and television stations.

Shakila Saifullah (M.A., 1999) is public relations manager for Associated Advertising Agency, Wichita.  She previously worked as assignment editor at KSN Channel 3 for three years.

Jay Sanderson (Broadcast, 2004) is sports anchor/reporter/photographer at KWCH 12, as well as FOX Kansas Eyewitness News at 9 in Wichita.  He also is the play-by-play voice of the Wichita Stealth Arena Football team.

Amy (Pray) Schoon (print journalism, 1995) is a writer/editor of undergraduate admissions publications and the faculty/staff newspaper for University Relations Publications at The University of Iowa.

Svein Schwab (electronic media 1994) is a network news photographer / editor for the Chicago Bureau of the Fox News Channel.

Michael Simmon (strategic communication 2006) is an account / PR Coordinator at Associated Advertising in Wichita, KS.

Lucas Soltow (print journalism 2001) is deputy design editor at The Hutchinson News. He also worked as a senior copy editor at The Sedalia Democrat in Sedalia, Mo., and as a copy editor at The Bulletin in Bend, Ore.

Nicole Stockdale (print journalism, 2000) recently accepted a job as a copy editor at the Dallas Morning News. She has worked at The Wichita Eagle since her senior year in the ESC.

Ashley Anderson Swan (strategic comm, fall 2005) is an interactive project coordinator for MMG Worldwide, an advertising agency in Kansas City, Mo.

Jennifer Talbert (M.A., 1997) is completing her doctorate at Kent State University, where she is an instructor in the Department of Communication Studie and also coaches the speech team..

Rachel Walcher (broadcast 2003) is communications manager for Wichita Festivals Inc., the non-profit organization that manages the Wichita River Festival and Wichita Flight Festival.

Trisha Robinson Walls (IMC, 1991) is a public relations specialist for the American Cancer Society in Wichita.

Robert Watson (public relations, 1995) is director of event planning for the Atlanta Marriott Century Center.  He has earned certified meeting professional status.  He worked previously for Marriott in Chicago for four years and in Cleveland for two.

Indika Wickramaratne (electronic media, 2002). Media Resources Center, Wichita State University.

Eric Wilson (IMC 2004, M.A. 2006) is a team coordinator at Sullivan Higdon & Sink, working with the group responsible for advertising and marketing efforts for Cessna Citation jets, Spirit Aerosystems and Jet Aviation.

Jason Wituk (IMC 1993) is local sales manager for Journal Broadcast Group in Wichita.
