2012 marks the 35th anniversary of the Wallace engineering scholarship. This scholarship is made possible through the Dwane and Velma Wallace Endowment, created in 1976, which supports scholarships for engineering students and provides funds for the COE. Since 1980, the endowment has benefited more than 270 engineering majors at WSU.

Contribute to the Wallace Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship Fund

In 2002, a group of Wallace alumni decided to honor what Dwane and Velma Wallace did for them by creating the Wallace Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarship Fund. The original goal set by this group was to raise $100,000. To-date, nearly one-half of that goal has been met. As part of the 35th Wallace Alumni Reunion, these fundraising efforts are being renewed - with an increased goal of $150,000.

A gift designated to this fund will not only assist in reaching this goal, but, more importantly, will honor Dwane and Velma. It will also support WSU College of Engineering students with a scholarship like the one you once received. In addition, your gift will be eligible to be matched by the state of Kansas through Senate Bill 127.
