Optional Degree Credit

Graduate and undergraduate students may enroll for credit through Wichita State University. Enrollment begins April 1. WSU students must enroll through the MyWSU portal. WSU tuition is not included in the Canta in Italia program fee. Financial aid may be used to pay for courses. Non-WSU students should check with their institution prior to enrollment to ensure that transfer credit will be accepted.

Courses include: 

Italian diction - 1 credit

Voice - 2 cr.

Vocal coaching - 1 cr.

Italian Opera Literature - 2 cr.

Acting for Singers - 3 cr.

Courses may be taken at the graduate or undergraduate level. Interested students should have an advisory conversation prior to enrolling for credit.
