About the Organ

The Marcussen organ is housed in Wiedemann Hall.  Gladys Wiedemann donated this organ and Professor Town secured the legendary firm of Marcussen and Son of Denmark to design and build the organ. The organ builders worked with architects to acoustically present the Marcussen organ in its ultimate glory. The Marcussen in Wiedemann was the company's first organ built in North America.
