C.A. Seward Memorial Guest Print Maker Program

The C.A. Seward Memorial Guest Print Maker Program has been endowed in Seward's memory by his granddaughter, Barbara Thompson.  This program is being funded in Seward’s honor and in recognition of the broad platform he established for traditional and innovative printmaking during his lifetime.

The Guest Print Maker Program will allow the printmaking department to invite nationally recognized printmaking artists to Wichita State University. The Printmaking Department will welcome an artist to be at residence on a biennial basis.  While in residence the artist will be conducting workshops, engaging students, and will be giving public presentations to WSU students  and the community.

The artist will also create a limited edition print while in residence, which will be available for purchase through the School of Art and Design.  To view information on current and past artists please click on the following links.  You will also be able to see prints currently available for purchase from different artists. The funds received from these prints will go directly to support additonal programs for the printmaking department at Wichita State Univesity, thereby extending the impact of this program.
