Grants Information

 

Grants are a form of gift aid that are typically not repaid unless you are awarded funds incorrectly or you withdraw from school prior to the end of the term. Grants are generally awarded to students with financial need as determined by the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).

 

The following Grants are available to students attending Wichita State University:

Federal Pell Grant
Federal grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
Federal grant for undergraduate students with exceptional financial need.

Federal Academic Competitiveness Grant
Federal need/merit-based grant for undergraduate students.

National Science and Mathematics Access to Retain Talent Grant
Federal need/merit-based grant for undergraduate students.

Kansas Comprehensive Grant
State grant for Kansas residents with financial need.

TEACH Grant
The Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program
