Current/continuing students at WSU must apply for scholarships annually in early spring through their academic colleges. The majority of continuing student scholarship support is available through the six academic colleges:
Collectively, the academic colleges of Wichita State University award over $2 million of available scholarships annually.
Each college has its own application process and deadline. Visit their web page for information and application instructions. Questions should be directed to the college’s scholarship coordinator.
WSU-affiliated organizations offer a variety of scholarships that are open to current WSU students.
The HALA Scholarship for Community Service is made possible through funding from the Educational Opportunity Fund. Eligibility includes:
1. United States of America citizen or permanent resident status
2. Students enrolled at Wichita State University on a full-time basis
3. Students with at least a 2.75 cumulative grade point average
4. Students must have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours prior to submission of an application
Students are also encouraged to look for outside scholarships. Information on scholarships that are not affiliated with WSU is listed as a courtesy to our students in the Outside Scholarships section of the website.
