April 1, 2012 scholarship deadline has passed and we are no longer accepting incoming student scholarship applications from high school seniors or college transfers for the 2012-2013 academic year. You can still contact your academic college for opportunities within your major. We would also encourage you to review the links under Outside Scholarships for external opportunities.

For general (non-major specific) scholarship consideration, students must meet all of the following criteria as applicable:
FRESHMAN GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS
These scholarships are awarded to qualifying students on a funds available basis. Materials will be accepted after completion of the sixth semester of high school (end of junior year). Applications are reviewed in the order received by the scholarship committee and students will be notified of their scholarship status by the Office of Financial Aid.
Applicants submitting scholarship materials prior to November 1 will receive notification in December. Applicants submitting scholarship materials between November 1 and February 1 will receive notification in March. Notification for applications received after February 1 will be sent out on the basis of available funding. Applications will not be accepted after April 1. Only applications received by the priority date of November 1 will receive consideration for renewable scholarships.
TRANSFER STUDENT GENERAL SCHOLARSHIPS
These scholarships are awarded to qualifying students on a funds available basis. Applicants submitting scholarship materials prior to February 1 will receive notification in March. Notification for applications received after February 1 will be sent out on the basis of available funding. Applications will not be accepted after April 1.
Students transferring with less than 24 hours must also submit an official high school transcript and ACT scores, which will be included in the application review.
Phi Theta Kappa and HALO Scholarship – Students wishing to be considered for PTK and/or HALO scholarships must include details of their active participation in these organizations on the activity chart portion of the online scholarship application. Indicating interest on the application will provide authorization for Admissions representatives to contact respective organization advisers for references.
