Jack R. and Barbara J. Worden Scholarship

The Jack R. and Barbara J. Worden Scholarship was one of several scholarships created by Mack W. Worden as a memorial to a family member. The scholarship was established in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences to honor Mr. Worden’s brother, Jack, following his passing in 1982.

Mr. Worden is a 1943 graduate of the University of Wichita and has been a continued supporter since. In addition to his many family scholarships, he also established the Skip and Vera Skelton Scholarship in Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Skip and Vera Scholarship in Health Professions and the Richard and Jean Reidenbaugh Endowed Scholarship in Entrepreneurship.
