Raymond LeClair Budge Art Scholarship

The Raymond LeClair Budge Art Scholarship was established in his memory by his wife, Melba Cornwell Budge upon his passing away in 1977. Mrs. Budge taught piano and violin in St. John, Kan., for more than 70 years. Both Mr. and Mrs. Budge were longtime supporters of the College of Fine Arts. Mrs. Budge also created another fund, the Melba Cornwell Budge Piano Pedagogy Fellowship to assist students studying music. She passed away in 1992. The Raymond LeClair Budge Art Scholarship was established to assist students studying fine arts in the WSU College of Fine Arts.
