Virgil and Audine Bargman Endowed Scholarship

The Bargmans led simple lives. Mr. Virgil Bargman was from Palmer, Kan., and worked as a machinist for the Boeing Company. Mrs. Audine Bargman was raised in Dill City, Okla., and worked as a cosmetologist. The couple made their home in Derby, Kan. Though Mr. Bargman attended Wichita State University only briefly, the couple had a long-held affinity for helping students further their education. Mrs. Bargman passed away June 3, 2005, and Mr. Bargman passed away November 6, 2007. This scholarship will serve to perpetuate their legacy with the university.

The Virgil and Audine Bargman Endowed Scholarship is awarded annually to a student(s) enrolled part or full time at Wichita State University.
