Thank you for your interest in Wichita State University. It is important to explore all avenues for financing college expenses.

This comprehensive list of WSU student funds, including scholarships and fellowships, was developed to educate students on the funds available to them and the criteria necessary to apply, and also to honor our donors for their investment in our university and our students.

Student funding definitions

Scholarships
Scholarships are awards for undergraduate students and may, based on individual guidelines, be renewed so long as the student meets the criteria for selection up to four years or upon completion of the baccalaureate degree, whichever comes first.

Fellowships
Fellowships are awards for graduate students and may, based on individual guidelines, be renewed so long as the student meets the criteria for selection up to two years or upon completion of the master’s degree, whichever comes first.
