Bio: Khawaja A. Saeed holds an MBA from Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand and a Ph.D. in Information Systems from University of South Carolina. He has been at Wichita State since 2004 and has taught classes at both the undergraduate and graduate level. He is currently teaching business application development, data communication and networks, and corporate information strategy. Dr. Saeed has worked on various projects in companies operating in Thailand, Pakistan, Denmark, and USA. His research focuses on user acceptance of information systems and strategic value of information systems. His work on these topics has been published in journals such as Journal of Management Information Systems, Decision Sciences, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Communications of the ACM, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, Journal of Organizational and End User Computing, Information Systems Journal, and Electronic Markets. Dr. Saeed is the recipient of the Stan Hardy Award for the best paper published in the field of Operations Management and serves on the Technology Committee at Meritrust Credit Union. He is the recipient of Research / Writer of the year award for 2005, 2006, and 2009 at Barton School of Business. Dr. Saeed has worked with the Special Interest Group on Human Computer Interaction (SIGHCI) at Association of Information Systems since 2004 and currently serves as the Chair of SIGHCI.
