Graduate Students Advisory Board

Goals: The Wichita State University Graduate Students Advisory Board (GSAB) is dedicated to the professional and academic growth of all graduate students at Wichita State University. GSAB's role is to:

• promote, foster, and improve the quality of graduate education at WSU
• assist and contribute appropriately to official University committees and governing bodies that affect graduate students
• provide the opportunity for communication, cooperation, and the exchange of ideas among graduate students, faculty, and the University administration
• serve as a central body to direct graduate recommendations and/or grievances to the graduate school or the appropriate office
• serve as a body to help with writing policies concerning graduate students
• serve as the advisory board of graduate students to the graduate faculty and administration

Membership: One graduate student from each of the six academic colleges except the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences which will have three members. In order to serve on the board, graduate students may submit, by the first Friday of September of that academic year, their name, contact phone number, and a brief statement about themselves to the Assistant Dean of the Graduate School.
