The New Member Greek Council is made up of two representatives from each fraternity and sorority. The council meets regularly to discuss topics around Fraternity and Sorority Life, including focusing on the Common Read for WSU, and planing new member social and philanthropic events.

Each semester the New Member Greek Council hosts a philanthropic event. Play for Parkinson's in the spring takes place at the Fairmount Park and seeks to increase the Greek outreach into the community. The day is punctuated by exciting games, food and music all while benefitting Parkinson's Disease Awareness!  Jail-N-Bail in the fall take place in the RSC and raises money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
