Peer Academic Leaders (PALs) serve as mentors, teachers, and resources to students who live on campus at Wichita State University. PALs assist residential students by providing academic support and social opportunities while teaching students how to be succesful in the classroom at Wichita State University.

What is the compensation for a PAL?
Each Peer Academic Leader is compensated for holding the weekly 10-hour position with Housing. Peer Academic Leader compensation also includes a free room in Shocker Hall.
Am I Qualified to be a PAL?
The minimum qualifications to be considered for hire as a Peer Academic Leader include:
At least one-year of college experience
Good academic and judicial standing
Undergraduate student status
Previous leadership experience (preferred)
