Get on the Recycle Cycle
The Bureau of Waste Management/Kansas Department of Health and Environment is hosting a promotional and awareness building event designed to feature proper environmental stewardship practices that center around issues central to waste management. A core group of bicycle riders from KDHE will pedal from Colorado to Missouri the week of September 27. Others are encouraged to participate along the route where practical and as time allows. Media event are planned each day at specific locations along the route to build this awareness. Route/daily departure information can be found at www.RecycleCycle.Org.

Health Risk Appraisal Coming Soon!!
Go to: http://www.khpa.ks.gov/healthquest/screenings.html to get scheduled for this year's Health Risk Appraisal. There is an on-line scheduling tool or please call toll free 1-888-275-1205 and select option zero to make an appointment. Appointments will be available at WSU on April 22 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Duffy's, RSC #223 or on June 10 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Great Plains Room, RSC #215-217.
Sue Cook to Retire
Sue Cook, who has worked for the State of Kansas for 42+ years, will be honored at a retirement reception on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. in the RSC Regents Room. Sue's position will not be filled.
