November 16: Extract records at beginning of the pay period. Re-extract before sign-off to "pull" employees that may of been added or changed on your time entry organization code during the current pay period.

****New Performance Management Process (PMP) training available.  PMP to replace current evaluation process of classified employees.  Development of this new process began in May when Governor Sebelius signed House Bill 2916 into law -- see August 21, 2008 memo from Gov. Sebelius or the Performance Management Process form which is also linked on the Forms Index. Also see PMP Writing Help for those who have completed the training.


Tuition Assistance is administered by Human Resources for non-teaching, benefits-eligible state employees of WSU. Application deadline for Spring 2010 is December 3, 2009.  (Please use the current application, dated 12/07.)  There are no more funds available for seminars this fiscal year.

Note:  With tuition assistance funds being processed through Self Service Banner, it is now critical that you be pre-enrolled in the course or workshop by the tuition assistance deadline.  Tuition assistance credit can't be entered on your bill if you're not enrolled in the class.  When tuition assistance is credited, it will automatically hold your class; if you decide not to attend, you must physically withdraw for the money to be refunded to the tuition assistance budget -- all funds must be refunded to maintain eligibility for tuition assistance.
