Tuition assistance is available for eligible Wichita State University employees and their dependents and/or spouse who wish to further their education through classes in a degree-seeking program at the University. Refer to the noted policies for complete details of the programs.
Employee Tuition Assistance:

This program is available for all university support staff and unclassified professional non-teaching employees who hold at least a half-time, benefits eligible position.
Assistance is not available to employees on unpaid leave.

Complete applications must be submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org by the deadlines below for consideration.
Fall Semester - July 1st
Spring Semester - December 1st
Summer Semester (only available to employees) - April 15th
Tuition assistance will be paid at the base cost of graduate or undergraduate tuition rates plus the infrastructure fee. Any balance owed must be paid by the last day to drop a class at 100% to avoid late fees. Unpaid fees will result in a financial hold placed on the student’s record which will prevent viewing grades, transcripts, and future enrollment.
Students must register for classes on-line. Tuition assistance will be reflected on your bill after you are enrolled in class(es).
Students must physically withdraw from a class for payments to be refunded.
Students must maintain a GPA of 2.0 or greater for Undergraduate Programs and 3.0 or greater for Graduate Programs to maintain eligibility for tuition assistance.
