Wichita State University has been awarded federal procurement contracts which require the University to notify its employees of the following:
The United States Government has adopted a zero tolerance policy regarding trafficking in persons.
As required by federal procurement contracts, the University prohibits employees from engaging in human trafficking during the period of performance of the contract, procuring commercial sex acts during the period of performance of the contract, or using forced labor in the performance of the contract.
The University is required to, and will, take action for violation of the U.S. Government's zero tolerance policy, including, but not limited to, removal from the contract, reduction in benefits, or imposing actions related to employment, up to and including termination of employment.
