Preparation for the Procession

Faculty marching in the Inauguration procession should arrive at Eugene M. Hughes Metropolitian Complex between 1:00-1:30 p.m. Friday, October 12.  Please enter through door "N" (letters are located above each door).  Faculty will be check-ed in according to their college.  Check-in rooms are inducated below:

Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences: Room 132
College of Health Professions: Room 130
W. Frank Barton School of Business:  Room 132
College of Education: Room 147D
College of Engineering: Room 132
College of Fine Arts: Room 132
Faculty/Administrator Emeriti: 132

Faculty Response for Procession

It is imperative that you notify the Inauguration Office of your intention to march in the faculty processional.  Please e-mail inauguration@wichita.edu immediately.  We will need all faculty RSVP's by September 28th, 2012.  If you have already contacted the Inauguration Office, thank you for your participation.

Renting Regalia

The cost of renting regalia for Inauguration will be paid by the University for faculty members who wish to be a part of the processional.  Faculty interested in renting regalia need to email the following information to bookstore@wichita.edu prior to August 27th, 2012 (in the subject line of the email please put “Regalia order for President’s Inauguration”):

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Gender
  • Height
  • Weight
  • Degree name, i.e. Masters of Fine Arts or Doctorate of Physical Therapy, etc.
  • College where the degree was received, including city and state of the campus attended
  • What package or item(s) is being rented


We suggest that faculty park outside of door "N", which is located on the southwest side of the building.  Please click here to see map of suggested parking.
