Teach in Maastricht, NetherlandsFaculty are welcome to apply to teach for periods ranging from 4 weeks to one semester in the Maastricht Center for Transatlantic Studies. The link above provides an introduction to the program as a whole, and there are additional links on the left-hand side of the page for faculty interested in teaching. The program provides housing and meals on campus, and the Office of International Education will assist with airfare.
Teach in Europe, Latin America, or AsiaWSU has bilateral exchange partnerships with universities in the U.K., Sweden, Austria, Germany, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and Taiwan. In addition to the teaching opportunity mentioned above in the Netherlands, faculty are encouraged to consider teaching or conducting research at one of our partner universities overseas.
An interested faculty member should first inquire within his/her own department and college to determine whether courses currently being taught at WSU can be taught from overseas, or taught by an exchange faculty member coming from a partner university, or covered in some other way. All financial arrangements must be made through the individual's department and college. The Office of International Education will be happy to assist with contacting partner universities to determine interest in accepting and hosting a WSU faculty member.
