The staff of Student Involvement strive to make meaningful experiences for students at events, in the classroom, community and especially in the workplace. Office Assistant

Under general supervision, this undergraduate student position performs basic receptionist and clerical duties for Student Involvement. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service. Must respect confidentiality of information. Position may require periods of working with minimal supervision and making accurate decisions in the absence of the supervisor.

Fraternity and Sorority Life Student Assistant

Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Fraternity and Sorority Life, this student performs basic filing, organization and clerical duties for Fraternity and Sorority Life within Student Involvement. Duties include answering emails, typing, filing, copying, mailing, tracking and organizing information, running erands, entering data and other dutes as assigned. This position will also assist with marketing projects and program support as needed.  They must respect confidentiality of information and demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and time management.

Leadership Student Assistant

Under the supervision of the Coordinator for Leadership Development, will assist in the planning and implementation of various programs/events. The primary responsibilities of this position include providing assistance with the three-tiered leadership programs, leadership book club, Summer Leadership Institute, LeaderShape, and other programs as arise. This position will also assist with marketing programs and projects as needed. This position serves as a member of the Student Involvement team with the goal of enhancing the shocker experience.

Student Activities Graduate Assistant

Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Student Activities, this graduate student position assists with the advisement of the Student Activities Council and serves as a staff member of Student Involvement. Candidates must be a graduate student at Wichita State University and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. Experience and interest in student development, counseling, and/or event planning are preferred.

Wilson K Cadman Art Gallery Graduate Assistant

Under the supervision of the Coordinator of Campus Programs, this graduate assistant would assist with development and installation of exhibits as well as promotion, judging, and selection of shows.  This position would work to increase awareness of the gallery and understanding of art by helping with gallery related programs and receptions for artists.
Candidates must be a graduate student at Wichita State University and enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.  Experience working with an art gallery and marketing/promotions is perferred.
