Summer Leadership Institute

The Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) is a 5 day experience that allows each participant to evolve and expand upon their leadership skills and abilities. Whether you are an experienced or novice leader, SLI will help each individual to develop and reflect upon where they currently are and where they would like to be as a leader. Participants will be divided into groups who they will meet with throughout the institute. These groups will serve as a home base where they will have the opportunity to discuss and reflect upon the leadership lessons taught. Participants of SLI will not only grow in their leadership skills, but also with critical thinking skills, self-awareness and teambuilding skills.

Important Notes
  • Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 30 at Student Involvement (RSC 216)
  • $50 refundable deposit required with completed application (cash only)
    • Deposit will be refunded upon attendance and completion of SLI or if submission of cancellation is received no later than 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27, 2018. 
  • Participants must attend a mandatory informational session on Thursday, April 19 from 5:00 – 700 p.m.
