The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) Programs offer federal government dollars to entrepreneurs, qualified small businesses, and researchers at institutions to fund innovative ideas – with no repayment required. State Tax Workshop
As a small business owner, you know you need to pay taxes. But where do you start? What do you really need to do? The Patent Process & Patent Searching
This workshop will take you from invention idea to proof of concept, detailing the steps of the patent process and focusing on strategies for patent searching. An overview of free online patent databases will be provided. The presenter is WSU Associate Professor Emeritus Nan Myers, a specialist in intellectual property who has worked with patents for the past 20 years.
