2009-2010 CALENDAR

AUGUST 2009

• 14 - 5:00 p.m. fall enrollment cancellation for non payment by Registrar.
• 20 - Fall classes begin.
• 26 - Last day to add full semester courses for fall 2009; Last day to withdraw and receive a 100% tuition refund.
  Scholarship recipients who have not enrolled for the fall semester in the appropriate number of hours required by scholarship guidelines by this date will have their fall award(s) withdrawn and will be responsible for any charges assessed by Accounts Receivable.

SEPTEMBER 2009

• 2 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 80% tuition refund
• 7 - Labor Day (University Closed)
• 9 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 60% tuition refund
• 17 - 20th day of classes
• 23 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 40% tuition refund

OCTOBER 2009

• 15 - 2010-2011 LAS Scholarship/Fellowship Application available
• 15-16 – Fall Break

NOVEMBER 2009

• 1 - Last day to officially drop a course with a "W"
• 16 - Tentative date for spring early registration to begin

• 25-29 - Thanksgiving Break (University closed)

DECEMBER 2009

• 10 - Last day of fall classes
• 12-18 - Final examinations
• 23 - Holiday Break begins at 5 p.m. (University Closed)

JANUARY 2010

• TBD - 5:00 p.m. spring enrollment cancellation for non payment by Registrar
• 4 - University re-opens after break
• 18 - Martin Luther King Holiday (University Closed)
• 19 - Spring classes begin
• 25 - Last day to add full semester courses for spring 2010; Last day to withdraw and receive a 100% tuition refund.
  Scholarship recipients who have not enrolled for the spring semester in the appropriate number of hours required by scholarship guidelines by this date will have their spring award(s) withdrawn and will be responsible for any charges assessed by Accounts Receivable.
  

FEBRUARY 2010

• 1 - 2010-2011 LAS Scholarship/Fellowship Application due to the LAS Dean's Office by 5 p.m.
• 1 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 80% tuition refund
• 8 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 60% tuition refund
• 15 - 20th day of classes
• 22 - Last day to withdraw and receive a 40% tuition refund

MARCH 2010

•  15-21 - Spring break

APRIL 2010

• 5 - Last day to officially drop a course with a "W"; early registration for summer begins
• 12 - Early registration for fall begins

MAY 2010

• 10 - Last day of spring classes
• 12-18 - Final examinations
• 31 - Memorial Day Holiday (University Closed)

JUNE 2010

JULY 2010

•  5 - Independence Day Holiday (University Closed)
