Awards for general scholarships and fellowships are made regardless of major unless otherwise specified.
Applicants should submit at least one (1) letter of recommendation with their application.
Due to the large number of applications and limited funds, General LAS Scholarships may be renewed up to the completion of the first bachelor’s degree or the equivalent thereof (124 credit hours or more).
The department scholarship committee prefers applicants with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Applicants should submit three (3) letters of recommendation with their application.

Applicants should submit two (2) letters of recommendation with their application. At least one must be from a current or former foreign language instructor.
NOTE: Gerontology will be moving to the College of Health Professions Fall 2011. If you are interested in applying for Gerontology scholarships and fellowships for the 2011-2012 Academic Year please apply with the Health Professions Dean's Office.
**IMPORTANT: In evaluating student applications, the Women’s Studies department will consider the thought put into the Scholarship Statement (pg 3) which should be a brief essay. In addition, the department expects all relevant boxes for the Activities List (pg 2) to be completed and will also consider these responses in designating awards.
