LAS Scholarships/Fellowships

The Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences is proud to provide over $533,000 in scholarships and fellowships to our students each academic year.  Recipients are selected each spring semester for the following academic year.  Take a look at the 2013-2014 application process to get a "big picture" view.

Application

• Priority deadline: FEBRUARY 1, 2013.
• MUST BE SUBMITTED ELECTRONICALLY.
• The one application covers all LAS scholarships and fellowships.

Letter(s) of Recommendation

• Applicants are encouraged to submit at least one (1) letter of recommendation.
• Letters should be sent via email from the letter author to candice.weathers@wichita.edu
• Though not required for all scholarships or departments, the following require at least one letter of recommendation:
  • Chandler B. Hatfield Scholarship (2 letters)
  • MCLL (2 letters)
  • Mathematics (1 letter)
  • Hugo Wall School (3 letters)
