History:

Wiedemann Hall is the result of the continuous efforts of Wichita music-lover and philanthropist Gladys H.G. Wiedemann and Associate Professor Robert L. Town. A Marcussen organ is housed in Wiedemann Hall. Gladys Wiedemann donated the organ and Professor Town secured the legendary firm of Marcussen and Son of Denmark to design and build the organ. The organ builders worked with architects to acoustically present the Marcussen Organ in its ultimate glory. The Marcussen in Wiedemann was the company's first organ built in North America. The building houses the WSU School of Music.
