History:

Offices for the Alumni Association, the Board of Trustees, and the WSU Foundation (the former Endowment Association) were located in a variety of campus facilities prior to the completion of Woodman Alumni Center in 1989. A challenge grant of $500,000 from alumni K.T. and Mary Inez Woodman allowed construction of a building on the Braeburn Golf Course, adjacent to new University Welcome Center. The building was designed to house the business activities of the three groups plus conference rooms and social areas with views of the golf course.
