Bio: He received his Ph.D. (1990) from the University of Utah. During his academic career he has received numerous awards for his teaching and research. Dr. Chandler has been instrumental in shaping the entrepreneurship curriculum at Wichita State University. He is an internationally recognized scholar and is an elected Representative at Large of the Entrepreneurship Division of the Academy of Management. Dr. Chandler is an Associate Editor of Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Managerial Studies. He has served as an ad hoc reviewer for several top tier management journals. His research interests include opportunity recognition processes, the role of ongoing learning in new venture development, and new venture teams.
